Northeast Florida
...is where the river meets the sea, where the sun meets
the shore - where you meet your ideal home. This is Florida at
its best.
Seven bridges span the St Johns River in Duval County, giving Jacksonville,
Florida's River city, a charm and unique profile valued by both residents
and visitors. Jacksonville's flavor ranges from the beaches to historic
neighborhoods, to executive residential areas along the river, to commerce
and a bustling downtown.
Directly below Jacksonville, St. Johns County features another 26 miles of
beaches and the nation's oldest city, St. Augustine. Historic cobblestone
streets echo with the hoofbeats of the horses drawing carriages along the
bayfront. The Castillo De San Marcos and many other historic landmarks and
attractions make the area a desirable destination for visitors. The
small-town friendliness and picturesque waterfront make St. Augustine a
desirable place to live.
There is currently an explosive amount of growth in the Northwest part of
the county of St. Johns County, of which St. Augustine is a part. Many new
homes in all price ranges are currently being built along with new schools,
shopping areas and parks. Some of these communities will be home to private
golf courses, equestrian trails and other outdoor activities. Let Carolyn
show you all of the different choices when your home buying is in it's
initial stages.
